Reptiles and Amphibians of Wisconsin

Get up close and personal with some reptiles and amphibians, while learning what makes these critters so unique. This program includes two or three live reptiles and amphibians.

Fee: $75

 

Northwoods Raptors

Raptors, or birds of prey, are fascinating creatures. This program features two or three live raptors (Red-tailed Hawk, Great Horned Owl, and/or American Kestrel, based on availability) and highlights the unique adaptations that help these amazing birds survive in the Northwoods. Hands-on specimens will be available, such as feathers, skulls, wings, and feet.

Fee: $150

 

Night Owls

Owls are expert nocturnal hunters. Learn more about these mysterious creatures, and meet a live Great Horned Owl. Participants will also dissect real owl pellets, and explore hands-on specimens such as feathers, skulls, wings, and feet.

Fee: $100 plus $1.50 per pellet
