Field trips are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis; reservations are required.
All classes will have the opportunity to view our current exhibits, participate in outdoor activities, and conduct hands-on experiments while visiting the Museum.
Field trip sessions are 1½ to 2 hours in length. 2-hour field trips are highly recommended to give your students the best experience. Sessions are offered in the morning (9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.) and in the afternoon (12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.).
On average, we teach up to 50 students per field trip session. Larger schools/groups are scheduled for an entire day, occupying both the morning and afternoon sessions, or are scheduled on entirely different days.
