Join naturalist and “Natural Connections” author Emily Stone of the Cable Natural History Museum on Saturday, August 12 to discover the surprising science behind our Northwoods neighbors and emerge with a more complex understanding of their beauty on a scenic kayak paddle on the Namekagon River, from the Cable Wayside Landing to Larsen Landing. Meet at 10 am at Larsen Landing for the shuttle.
Emily will have books for sale and will be happy to sign a copy for you! Please bring a snacks, lunch, and water to keep you energized throughout the paddle. Wear and be prepared with appropriate layers for the weather and kayaking. The fee includes kayak, paddle, PFD, and shuttle.
