Joseph Jenkins Lecture Series: Nature’s Cutest Killers
Wednesday, July 25 @ 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Every October, hundreds of Northern Saw-whet Owls migrate through the back yards of slumbering St. Croix Valley residents, passing unseen through the night. These tiny owls weigh only as much as eight Oreo cookies, yet travel distances in excess of 800 miles on migration. Join local owl researcher, Jennifer Vieth, to learn about nature’s cutest killer, the Northern Saw-whet Owl. 7:00 p.m. at the Cable Natural History Museum. Refreshments. Sponsored by Henry and Jodi Kingdon. Donations welcome. Call 715-798-3890 for more info or www.cablemuseum.org.
