One of nature’s remarkable spectacles can be witnessed each fall in Duluth, MN. Migrating raptors, originating from summer breeding areas as far north as the Arctic and with wintering destinations as far south as points in South America, concentrate in impressive numbers at the western tip of Lake Superior. Join a Cable Natural History Museum naturalist as we travel to the Hawk Ridge Bird Observatory to watch one of the greatest migrations of birds of prey in North America. Meet at the Museum at 10:00 a.m. and return around 4:00 p.m. Space is limited. Register by September 20 by calling 715-798-3890. $10 member/$15 non-member.
