Dinner Lecture: Words for Water (Adult Naturalist Program)
Thursday, April 19 @ 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM$5 - $10
(Rescheduled due to a snowstorm!) Join Mary Dougherty, creator of the Words for Water photography project, to talk about answers to the question: “if you could speak for water, what would you say?” Mary started her project in response to a 26,000 hog factory farm that’s proposed in a watershed about 8 miles from Lake Superior. Mary will share a couple of chapters from the project, explain how the shared Words for Water story can be used, and will ask you to share your Words for Water, too. Meet at 5:30 p.m. at the Rookery Pub. You may also join us for dinner and conversation after the presentation. Register by April 18 at cablemuseum.org or call 715-798-3890. $5 member/$10 non-member.
